"Enhanced" security

We participate with the HTMC Hawaii Trail and Mountain Club, which has alot of fun, does hikes, and does public service to keep trails clear enough and safe so people can unplug and increase their mojo in the great outdoors.

Now government run entities are interfering with people who are trying to do volunteer work to improve the land.  Pretty sad really.

The unscheduled clearing on Sunday Sept. 2 for Halawa Trail is canceled.

I started to clear the tall grass next to the Xeriscape Garden for the Halawa Trail today (Saturday).  A person from the Garden came out and told me to stop clearing and leave their property unless I has a Board of Water Supply permit for access onto their property.  She informed me because of enhanced security no one is allowed thru their land without a permit.
