At this rate, only one in ten will have something left to retire on.....which suggests the four-in-ten stat is actually a form of irrational exuberance within the context of the New Normal.
No predictions.....but what should have happened: bear market runs its course, zombie banks are unwound, fiscal prudence returns to D.C. and.....wait for it......a kick-ass jobs program gets launched resulting in some nice infrastructure improvements to our Nation as a collateral benefit. But noooooooo......cant do that. Bonuses on The Street would have sucked then..... So instead, I have to listen to every hedgie & their brother opine how we are the next Wiemar, Zimbabwe, etc. ; silver is headin To The Moon, Alice!; and China is the FUTURE......its fucking irritating....cause they will all be bidding up commodities during a deflationary spiral.
